1st engine revisted.
Brass_Machine:
I was rummaging around my shop yesterday day (under the thin veil of reorganizing) and found the 1st engine I had ever made. It was from a Midwest kit. Unfortunately it has seen much better days. I did get it to run on steam. Plenty of leaks however. I think I will refurbish this one this summer. Here is the video of it running again.
Anyone wanna share pics/videos of their first engine?
Eric

Nice
I found myself chuckling when you looked down the stack
I hope you oiled the RT afterwards!?
Which would be most appropriate....
My first "failed" finger engine.
My first (kind of second) "worked quite well" finger engine or
My first steam engine running on air (no boiler!) ?
Ralph.
