Hi All :wave:, thank you for your kind comments, i am very pleased with it :ddb:, i have finished the cylinder cover and drilled the cylinder holes ready for tapping, i have ordered an 8BA tap to tap the holes, And i have started to paint the engine, Rob, Not sure i will start a build at the moment , Ray. |

Hi Ray, I was thinking "I really like the red flywheel, and I wonder what color he's going to paint the engine, it'd better complement that red flywheel", then I saw the next frame and the video. That is a very fine running engine, it sounds great, very smooth, and very even, without even a governor, I hope you intend to run it on steam, they do sound even better with it, throatier I think, the steam being denser than the air. Very sorry to hear about your mother, I wish you the best and will keep her in my prayers. It is hard for a son to lose a mother, and likewise for mother, too. Perhaps the engine colors can be chosen in memory of her last times and the things she cherishes. Now don't none of you get blubbery, I'm a Marine, but I have feelings about Moms just like people do. :poke: mad jack |
