Great Job Ray. :thumbup: Just out of interest, what speed are you turning cast iron at? Usually people do it really slowly, by the look of your photos it's spinning fast - is that because the lathe hasn't got the torque for low speed? Hi Ray, things are looking good :bugeye: I hope you take the time to fully enjoy turning cast iron, it is nice to turn, and make such nice and smooth cylinders so easy to hone and prep for pistons.
