Brass_Machine:
Got some more info about changing the power supper?

Thanks
Eric

Yep, just check out this link.
http://szabaga.com/x2/power/

I bought my power supply off E-bay for $25.00 and spent another $50 or so on the case, switches, wiring, etc.  I also added a relay inside of my control box to work with the E-stop button.  When it's pressed it will kill the power to the mill until you switch the main power off and back on again.

My mill will spin just over 6500 RPM and has a lot more torque than it did when stock.

I sold my old power supply on E-bay and it paid for the whole project!

Just let me know if you have any other questions!

Dale,

Thanks for the link. Could you provide some pictures when you get a chance? I want to get some ideas, I am going to do this for my mill... got a few things that will be happening to it as I convert to CNC.

Thanks!
Eric

The only pictures I have are the ones in this link.  http://madmodder.net/index.php?topic=1963.0

I would take some of inside but the mill would have to be unbolted from the table to get to the screws.
