I"m so happy to be useful again

I started life as a brick cutter but after many years of faithful service
I was sent to the scrappy just because my ram was broke.
then I was rescued and given a new life as a press all it needed was a bottom plate
and some odd bits of scrap. But best of all look how I can bend steel with just an old
vee block and chisel point. So happy to be of use again.
My friend BR has told my story.

Always nice to figure out a new way of using stuff. Looks like it works well for the job at hand.

Make sure that Vee block is a steel one and not a cast iron one.
Don't ask

John
A timely reminder of the properties of cast iron, but the one shown is steel,
someone allowed the rust monster too much time alone with it, hence its
rescue from the scrappies (is that a word) yard.

I never thought of using a v-block as a bending brake. Great tip.
