Hello John, I can't say I've enjoyed a video more than the very professional looking operation you and Rob put on with this casting.  The finish on the good one was great, clean, and should do you well in your engine, and the one with the sand a bit moist was very instructive, particularly that you immediately noted problems and stopped before a mess was made.  It almost looks like it was done deliberately bad, just to make a good show on what to do when it goes wrong.  I hope to be doing some casting of the same sort in the not too distant future.  It really makes it all to have the whole of it, from the ramming up, ramming the sprues, carving the pouring funnels, all the way from beginning to finished casting, laying on the ground, looking ready for turning, and then turning.  Fine piece of work there, with the video, and well complimenting the work on the cores, boxes, and patterns.  Truly instructional :jaw: :bugeye:  mad jack
