Hasbrouck V Twin Steam Engine

Hi
I have posted some pictures of this engine in my "casting brass" thread.
I thought it would be a good idea to do a build log of this engine.
I share my shop with a good friend , so any rough bits are his work  :D :D :D
This is the basic speck of the engine
Bore 1.875", Stroke 2.000"
Rated 2hp
400RPM 120 PSI
Stephensen Reverse
Double Acting V twin
The drawings are imperial desighned to be built without castings

The base plate milled out of 10 mm plate (drawings use 1/4 but i had this to hand)
Using thicker plate caused some problems later.

Getting the base plate & back plate at 90 degrees proved difficult
I will find some of the early pictures & post them

As this engine is about half way built the build log will be in fast speed  :D :D :D

This is how it should look
Cylinders were made from 2 large pices of steel (to do it again i would cast bronze)

Had the old bantam lathe working hard

Tomorrow it will be the steam ports
