Milling Machine or milling machine advice wanted

Hi I'm a new member from North East England.

I currently have a Boxford AUD lathe and would like a milling machine, I don't really want anything that's too big (i.e takes up half of the garage), I've been looking on ebay at Secondhand machines that seem to be virtual clones of machines like the Warco Major, round column type.

I've also had a look at new chinese made, dovetail column machines as supplied by SPG Tools (9512) or Amadeal (XJ 12).

I would appreciate any advice regarding the pro's and cons of each different type, possibly other/better suppliers

Alternatively is any UK based forum member selling a milling machine that fit's the bill and offers better value.

Hey Frank...

Need some more info. What do you intend to do with it? Ie what materials are you going to machine? What size are the parts?
