I dont actually race but i do allot of track days and stuff.
Im hoping that I can get good enough to race but im just not competitive yet.
Its worrying that im finding fabrication as much fun as riding, ive been known to turn down a run with the lads due to getting into an interesting project.

Sorry Ant, my misunderstanding, I did a quite a few track days, mainly on a Hornet and then a CBR600 ............. but over the last few years have gone the route of 4x4, (it's an age thing ::) ) I always enjoyed the track days, I was never particularly quick but that wasn't the point :smart: ........... enjoy
And enjoy the engineering too

Hey CrewCab
No mate, it was my fault, i did put racing down as my hobby. Its just easier and shorter to say that than try and explain that im in the process of learning and qualifying.
Hornet is a great beginners fast bike, sometimes I wish id started learning the track on a 125cc or 400 import but I started with a GSXR600.
IMO most engine sports are cool, wish id got the money to try them all :headbang:
