Hello everybody

  A lot of familiar names here from HMEM... so I don't feel entirely like the new kid in school!  I run a Taig lathe and mill in my garage shop when it's not being the wood shop/paint shop/anything else shop.  I've done a few mods to the lathe, built some tooling, and have a project list long enough that I'll never reach the end of it.  Looking forward to a lot of reading here.

Welcome to MadModer. Glad to see that you found your way over here. Sounds like your shop is one of those what ever has to be done shops. I think that most of us have more project's on the list then we will ever get finished. Enjoy yourself and don't be scared to ask any questions. Always someone around with an answer or at least an opinion.  :ddb: :ddb:  :mmr:

If you have any projects you don’t need throw them my way I will store them in the shed next to my shop / barn / auto shop / fabshop / storage facility.

Welcome. I know Canada gets cold, but it also gets hot. I went fishing at Flame lake and it had to be 100 deg and coal dust would stick to the sweat. The pike could be caught on anything in the tackle box.
