i was just looking around the internet and found this picture



one day i would like to try building something that small.

A Gismo ??? If it has a flywheel or spins and is made with small parts. I'll take one! If it makes noise, moves, or requires frequent oiling and dusting it's a better deal yet. It's especially right if its shiny and bright; but if it's dirty and dull it wont mater at all...

I think that it might be easier to look for a giant with a big hand. That way you could maybe get it up to a workable size to build.  :lol: :lol:

here"s another small steam engine built by jerry kieffer  the bore is .029" and stroke is .032"  :bugeye: :bugeye:

Ah yes Jerry Kieffer. I believe he turned a thread of something like 0000-120 or something that small. All I can say is he must have been born with magnifing eye's. :bugeye:
