How does search work ??
« on: December 05, 2009, 10:27:23 AM »
Tried doing a search for post by various people but having problems so tried searching by my posts.
I type in John Stevenson but it says "Did you forget to put something to search for?  because the search for box is empty.

So I enter various configurations of *.* and it still barfs out.

How do you  do a general search ?

I have a few modest talents. Knowing what I'm doing isn't one of them.

Think it depends what page you are on.... seems just to earch that page.
Try going to the home page and doing the search from there.

The one at the top left of the page is the global search engine for the whole forum. The one on the upper right is just for the section you are.

I've also noticed that the gobal search engine dosen't like wild cards, inother words "?", "*".

Hope this has helped.
