Thanks for the warm welcome, I am a fire inspector and been in the fire service for the last 6 years and was in the ARMY as a medic before that. I got the machining bug while in Douglas AZ, went across the border to Mexico and hung around the shop with an old machinist, I was blown away by the stuff he was making, AR-15 lowers for the Mexican army and injection molds for the factories. The amount of odd jobs he got during the day was also amazing and he always found a way to make it work from well drilling parts to printing presses. I have always had the metal working bug but it was mostly wrought iron and a little bit of blacksmithing. Been getting tools for machining and now have a mill, lathe and a shaper with a few accessories definitely a long way to go . Once again thanks.
