hello from new zealand
« on: October 04, 2009, 06:31:20 PM »
Hi,all.I came across this site through HMEM.I've been playing with models of one sort or another all my life.
As a kid started collecting matchbox etc.,and things just got worse from there.Plastic kits,HO railways, slot racing,r/c 1/8 gas cars, aeroplanes, boats, and lastly model engineering.
I have built the V-2 engine from model boats series, and am currently working on the boiler.
I also have a few half-finished projects on the go,e.g. Bog's marine twin,a 5" gauge steam loco(Metre Maid-0-6-0 version of Sweet Pea),and various tooling projects.
I also dabble a bit in electronics, mostly to aid my other "illnesses" :D
Hans.
