The two things with red-oxide-coloured parts look like AC electric motors.

PTsideshow:
two motors Ac 230v 50hz. from what I can read upside down, circuit control board, with surfacemount powertrans former(blue box) Larger one on the right looks to have gear reduction mechanism on the end of the motor. the red handle thing looks to be a screw driver.
the on  off button the green box with the spring on the button looks to be a latching button. and then you have a gear drive mounting plate.

Wouls have been a help if you would have mentioned what it came out of. If you still have the make model and brand you can look up on the web for parts lists or manuals and find out more on the motors if they have names or other identifiers. :ddb:

Darren:
They might be solenoids...?

No1_sonuk:
Google the visible number on the smaller one - EM2513-125
