bit of shed time today!
« on: September 26, 2009, 02:06:41 AM »
lucky me :D

after being ill last weekend, i've managed to get the whole day to myself :) :)

going to catch up on some jobs and try and tick off some jobs on the "things i've seen on madmodder and want to copy" list

just got to wait an hour or so, so the neighbours don't get woken up
if i'd thought it through, i'd have never tried it

Jimmy,

Sod the neighbours, it is your weekend time off as well. You get in there and enjoy yourself. Do all your planning in the quiet hours, and give 'em hell afterwards.

I always wait until 8am before turning my compressor on, unless I forgot to turn it off the night before, then they get a dose about 2 in the morning, it takes about 4 or 5 hours for the tiny leaks to drop the pressure enough to require a top up.

As our colonial cousins would say, have a good day.

got some jobs done :)

"fixed" my bust height gauge (used an old aldi vernier!)

rough and ready but it works and repeats!!

spent ages trying different mounts, hence the cable ties. every time i moved past 200mm it went to zero!!

after an hour (being honest more like two) i realised that the reader only had a 1 so after 199.99 it returned to zero ::)

works still, so i'm more than happy :) :) :)
