A random buy
« on: September 25, 2009, 08:57:10 PM »
I noticed these were coming to the end of the auction, and because it was from a seller only a mile from my house, I stuck in a last minute bid and got them for 21 squid.

This is one of those buys that you have no idea what you are going to do with them, but too good to miss.

They must be part of a machine tool from some time in the past, but sadly have been seperated.

The v-blocks are about 3" long.

I am thinking about machining the bases totally flat, and using them to hold long bars on the mill, unless you can come up with a better idea.

Nice find. I am sure that you will find something useful hiding in there. I know that when you do you will share it with us all. :ddb: :ddb:

Cheers
