I've only done a few things with the lathe so far.  My first real project is an oscillating engine (http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w174/upand_at_them/PM2A_build/).  It's nearly done, I just have to finish the frame and make a stand.

I got sidetracked, because I decided to make a faceplate balancing fixture so that I could machine the back of the frame.  I have that halfway done, because it led to finding out that my headstock is out of alignment.

I have a handful of these half-started projects that hopefully will all domino into completion once I finish putting my lathe back together.  This past weekend I did some fixes to the apron:

Which, interestingly enough, has created another project.  I have to enlarge that gear hole in the cover, no problem.  But I found that one of the gears needs to be faced 5 thou or so to fit.  And since my lathe is apart, my next project is to fix the saddle gib plates.  I don't have a big mill like Darren's lathe got to see, so I think I'll be using shims.
