Hi Folks
No, no flywheel as yet, I'm a bit stuffed for time this week, due to life's various aggravations. Will do a pic of it's rear end, not much to see, as I said, it's just a 'Junk Box' special.
I think Foozer/Robert/Bernd et al is referring to using a Saw Plate, or anything similar, as an Ersatz Dividing Plate.
All you need is some sort of hub disc to centre it, and another device to serve as a detent, then off you go.
You have a cheap but effective means of dividing. Depending on the No. of teeth on the saw, you can divide.
ie a 72 tooth blade ( fine finish cut ) will give 2,3,4,6,9,12,18,24,36 divs. ( I think ). Factorise the bugger for yourself

T'other way is to get a length of bandsaw blade and cut off the number of gullets you want ie.
Say 93 divs with a 10 tpi blade. you will cut off 9.3" or very nearly.
Put a disc of MDF or similar, on the lathe, turn OD so that blade exactly wraps, secure blade to disc. Make some sort of detent, and you can make a 93t gear or whatever to a fair accuracy. Never done it myself, seen it done by an old geezer who did Orrerys ( look it up )
Don't use a skip-tooth Blade

That's for folk who don't have a Dividing Head, all the div. plates, and the savvy to work out how to use 'em ..
IE ME !!!
