Looks like you will be able to make some fine things on that lathe..... It's huge compared to mine (I've used Boggies lathe once..... Those huge chucks are quite intimidating!!)

Many of us have had long gaps between learning to use and then finally owning/using lathes and mill's. My gap was around the 14 year mark..... a bit over 2 years back in and I can make a few bits accurately..... The rest are just "made to fit"   :dremel:

Spelling.... I thought you were talking like one of the next generation......  ::)   Have you tried to decypher one of those texts?  :lol:




It sounds like you are going to have yourself some fun..... Just remember all of the safety you were taught..... It's good to have eyes, fingers, hands etc to really get the best from your machinery!!

Another belated 'Hello', I'm not too quick witted  .. ::)

Been to Belgium several times for work. One time, spent an afternoon looking at the Sloping Lock at Ronquieres.

November 1978 or so, freezing cold, but fascinating.
