Nothing very special here. We've had some old schoolhouse light globes -- quite fragile, packed in a box for 20 years. Always meant to get around to making some fixtures for the kitchen to fit them. Something simple. Finally at the insistence of SWMBO to clear them out or dispose of them, I assembled a bunch of salvaged bits of PVC water, drain, and emt pipes and tubes together, flattened one half of a big pipe with heat for flat stock, and came up with these. Tapped the biggest for some SS round head screws to hold the globes. The top piece was a cut down pipe cap. A little green spray paint and I was done.
Not my biggest project, but satisfying nonetheless. Use stored things up, and end up with something nice!
Tough taking photos of lights at night, they make everything else look dark. The kitchen actually looks wonderfully brighter now. You'll have to use your imagination!
