The wires on the tail end of the contact breaker seem very close to the metal guide . Might be worth checking. Do you get a spark with the electrics off of the engine? BTW the base looks fabulous 😁 |

To test spark , just put a short wire into the plug cap and space it a couple of millimetres from the ground (black) wire. or stick your finger there - if it hurts like ##!# it's probably working ;-) |

That’s the first thing I did working on the BSA’s and Triumphs was to put a screwdriver into the boot and tell them to kick it over if it’s a constant shock add a new condenser! Lol Are you sure the ground is good and the contacts are isolated? |
