Maybe the Preview selects random pages. I'll try my phone and laptop to see if I get to see the relevant pages.

Still the same result for me. Just 55 pages are shown and then a message: "Pages 56 to 598 are not shown in this preview."

Are you sure you've not inadvertently bought it?
