Oh, to be 50, again....... --- Quote from: howsitwork? on January 06, 2017, 02:07:39 PM ---David Neoprene elbow and knee supports are great- keep the muscles warm , joints warm ( and pain free) and cushion them if you fall ! Wash em in warm water but NOT DETERGENT - (skin reactions afterwards) cos they get sweaty but works a treat. :ddb: :ddb: Rosehip syrup is reputedly good for arthritis ( if not it's bloody great on rice pudding!). --- End quote --- I have used them, over the years, Ian. Though, never drop tested...... Must check out rosehip syrup........ My main problem, is my feet. They don't want to hold me up, anymore. Twelve years ago. Both big toes were modded, to free off the main joints. So I could walk easier....... The "guarantee", was 5yrs. If you're lucky...... I'm on borrowed time! Also, the "blister pack" padding, on the soles of my feet, is worn out. I'm walking on my bones...... Padded shoe inserts, only help a little. An old crock! |
AdeV:
It might hurt less if you pulled that ruddy great nail out of your feet! :bugeye: Only kidding... and you have my sympathy for what it's worth. As I fast approach my mid 40s, I'm beginning to find bits of me that squeak/creak/crunch or grind which never used to, and I'm fairly sure shouldn't ever be doing... |

David, There are some Gel Sole inserts that mould more to your feet as they get warm, which maybe of benefit? Sorry to see the damage X Rays. Only rule as you "mature" is if anything drops off - hang on to it as they maybe able to re attach it ! Sadly extensions for most bits are not available    ( at least on the NHS not sure about privately ( no pun intended) :ddb: :ddb:) |
