What I ment was to put the felt behind your protector to hold the felt , the oil would wash it off .

Myford owners never use then in anger enough to generate hot chips, even if they allow them to sit on the bed long enough.

Good point though, that could well be my down fall. I could then sell the wipers as pan scrubbers. :thumbup:
