Hi John, the url is: http://www.idf50lifeboat.co.uk/ Dumper on hold until weather improves and I'm back off light duties (hernia op). I have to change the spool valve that tips it, and the replacement needs an adaptor plate fabricating as the mount is different. I also have to replace the seals in the tipper ram - got them but not doing it just now. Spending my time trying to learn Fusion 360 - in particular how to edit and create custom post processors as none of my CNC machines are very standard ! |

Take it easy for now Andrew, I think I might have one of those hernia things waiting in the wings. Just now I'm trying to get to grips with the way W10 is arranged. Having come from W7 I'm gradually finding where they have hidden the functions that I like to use!!! Why things had to change beats me. I tried various ways to upgrade using the windows prompt on the taskbar but what ever I did ended in failure, usually right at the end of a long period of activity. Fortunately my Son is a bit of a wizard with computers or so it seems to me and he came up with a solution. I prepared a system rescue disk and with that I could wipe the raid 1 hard drives. Having done that I used the W10.iso disk I'd previously downloaded and it all just fell into place. So that is where I've got to, still a bit more to do to get the laptop into an style I like. John |
