Make what - a sandwich?

Joking aside they're a very nice accessory for drilling small holes. You can feel the pressure better and pecking at the hole is much easier and quicker than having to turn a handwheel back and forth.

Mine uses a ball spine out of a scrap non-rotating air cylinder so there's no noticeable friction.

good vegetarian meal there Bob. Mine was vegetarian ham and salad.    Oh the metal work was up to your usual standards Bob very nice. I have spent a frustrating morning trying (and failing) to replace a part that came out of my dial calliper when I pulled it apart  Its over 40C again today so back under the ac for the rest of it. No I don't want your cold, stormy weather thanks all the same.

Nicely made little tool' they sell them on e bay & other suppler sites but are silly money. Talking about offset taper turning, I made something similar some years ago, have only used it once in anger since...

Yesterday, went out on the spending spree for a local Myford ME10 which was described as 'An ideal Starter lathe' and I found both the tailstock stock thing and the set over one in the box of goodies.

The other goodies included a Potts drilling spindle and a Cleeve swing tool holder along with a QCTP and rear parting tool post.

So it's nice to see what you have done.

Cheers
