--- Quote from: DavidA on December 27, 2015, 01:12:44 PM ---Seadog, Where is the second one ? And Anthony wrote... ...The slots in the one clamp allow the pressure to be applied perpendicular to the job via the grub screws . The other block clamps are just buttress blocks,.. I did expect to see two, but can only find one; that's why I queried it. Dave --- End quote --- I had to click on the picture then look at the others in his photo bucket account before I could see the other 1  the picture doesn't seem to be here  just on photo bucket :hammer: |

Mexican Jon, Seadog, That would account for it. I assume it must be the mostly hidden clamp behind the thick vertical web. But definitely a 'must make' item. Dave. |

The most awkward item I had to ever had to put in a lathe was a regulation Bowling Ball. It had to have a piece parted off for a lid for an art project. |

If there is still any confusion, Mr Hall's drawings for the clamps freely available on his website will clear it up. http://www.homews.co.uk/LPClSim01.pdf His website is well worth bookmarking. It is full of very useful and interesting stuff. |
