I need a valve to control the air flow , so I decided to make a butterfly valve  :dremel:

The valve body so far. Machined from a bit mystery steel .




Setting the flat in the correct orientation with the PCD of the slots .








Body done  :dremel:



And a couple of BRASS bushes (not to be confused with Bronzes as that's quite different   :palm: )   for the spindle were machined up and pressed into the body .





I Nickel  plated the valve body to give it some corrosion resistances  :zap:

Decided to do something different today , so I etched up some name plates to go on the forge and blower , smaller two  are to go on some tooling I have made .

 


Undecided on weather or not to add a colour infill  :scratch:
