A couple of bits I have made out of wood.

I can just about do it the traditional way, but with that many drawers to make I was bound to make a mistake somewhere.

Nothing wring of using the machines. I use routet much of the joinery, but never used router to make dovetails. Just too much hardware to do limited size and spacing.....but I have considered buying something simple. On the line of Leigh R9, only "problem" is that they are imperial - some consepts are foreign to me.

I use the leigh superjig, as it allows some variation in joint layout, and does not fix the board with.
It also works for both through and blind dovetails.

They have shot up in price though since I bought mine.

Yeahhhhh....checked some material on youtube and did read instructions and the I concluded that I would ruin more material with that kit than on my manual method. I also had to do some dovetails on about 50 mm thick material and concluded to make stuff manually.

I really considered that R9, but can't rmember waht stopped me....does it has router bits for 8 mm collets? If not then I would need to replace my old trusty festo and that probably would not happen any time soon.

Anyway I would be happy to see how you make next furniture and there are so many diffrent ways to do joinery.

A lovely cabinet - forget the garage the place for it is in the living room! (And here's me looking around for second-hand kitchen units - so embarrassing).

Nicely made, and a good choice of timbers.
