Every time I see one of those things going down the road I am reminded of the Martin Bros. quote when he was asked why his bikes never had any cargo rings on them. "That's what they make money for! If it don't fit in your pocket, leave it at home."
If you need to haul around enough stuff to require 4 wheels to carry it, buy a mini van (people carrier for those of the hot tea persuasion).
