Always have been a geek, nerd, gearhead, woodworker and tinkerer. My career of choice has been electronics, from RF to computer systems. I've done high voltage control systems, so strayed in to electrical also. Loved to work on cars and motorcycles, worked my way through school working at a large dealer's service department (Pontiac, Honda, International Harvester and Briklin), but I preferred to keep it as a hobby, not something I had to do to make a living.
