Got a little bit more done
I need some bronze so i can cast the cylinder lower cover
The price of scrap bronze has gone through the roof :( :( :(
Made the lids for the main bearing oil boxes instead
Replaced the cap heads with studs & nuts

Got a big bit done it is nearly a runner
Time for a fly wheel
I had a 8 inch disc with a hole in it about the size i wanted but a bit thin
A centre boss was turned up on my boxford
The big bit was possible for me to machine but it would have taken a long time
Rob Wilson kindly offerd to rough it out for me on his referbished cub lathe
(Robs idea of roughing out is different from mine) needless to say it turned out perfect.

Hi
I managed to bore the exentric casting with out going to big
I cobbled a valve rod together and a temp valve cover
A blast of ar and it trundled in to life
No rings packing or gaskets at all
Valve timing set very near
