After reading and viewing a number of vid's on prepping 5.56/.223 cases and figuring out that a solid mount and one with a larger foot print would be needed to size the cases before trimming.
I also thought that a single stage O-press might be a good investment with a small base sizing die as a stand alone in addition to to the 550B. Considering I got carried away and bought about 14,000 5.56/.223 over the last 3 months. One of them deals I couldn't pass up.
This is the mount I came up with and made this morning.

I got carried away and bought 14,000 5.56/223 range pick ups. I can inspect etc. the brass befor it is run through my progressive press.
