Anthony my press is a micro compound lever press along the lines  of one made by Lee Hite on youtube.
This process is by no means on a industrial scale itjust allows me to make use of a waste product from a new process at my place of work namely clean sawdust to produce   
free heat, as the price of gas and electricity are crippling here at the present time.
The presses on youtube are made of wood but there appeared to me to be too much flexing when the press was under load so mine is a welded construction which pretty much solves that problem, The mix is approx 80% saw dust 20%paper pulp............Magnet

Now i am really interested. i watched the vid on you-tube, very interesting.... what are the advantages in making a pulp-wood-saw-dust briquette, does it act different in the stove /fire?. are the BTU'S max'ed.   very interested..

Anthony, i have burned quite a few now and done a bit  of experimenting with the mix in a very un scientific manner however the 80/20 mix is not in tablets of stone but the paper is required to bind the mix although i am going to try with wallpaper paste as a binder so i can have a greater amount of saw dust for hopefully a longer burn.
 
 These things burn in the manner of a cigarette end and last a reasonable amount of time, while i dont think they will take the place of my other solid fuels they are a nice supplement and best of all they're free..........Magnet
