Any of you chaps ever been asked to produce a sunburst finish like below?
The reason I ask am tempted to try sunburst finishing myself, am thinking I need a rotary table and sliding finger.

Could it be done using a spinning brush? i.e spinning the object on a rotab beneath a spinning brush?

Possibly but what about the sides they'd probably get brushed.

Sides could be finished later, only looks like a very light brushing though...
Reminds me a bit of a finish I use on steel, although not in a radial pattern. That's just done with abrasive, guess they might use a belt and rotab.

Yup probably belt and rot table I had thought about rotary table and an abrasive finger fitted to a linear guide rail.
