Hi Terry,

 Hoorah for the Brylcream boys! I'm a 31-er.
A point about GHT's little boring head. It was never said but it makes a very nice ball turning fixture if you enable the No2 or iit may be 3MT( for you) to be removed and replaced with a parallel bit of round.

I've been swopping some of my Imperious stuff for metropolitan varieties. Regular attendance at Screwfix and Tool y Stations.

many thanks for your input, sadly  at the moment I do not have a PC which uses Windows but hope to have  one in the near future. meantime I will attempt to get the programme to run on Linux under Wine

Hey Rob,
thanks for your welcome comments.
As is possibly evident I still have to manufacture the sector arms (?) and drill the division plates but I have considerable reading to do in order to get my head around the theory before I start drilling.
A further complication arises from  the simple fact that the VDH is designed primarily with the Myford range in mind so an adapter must be fabricated in order for the head to be compatible with my 920 boring table Tee slots, and of course raise the centre height above the boring table to match the lathe centre.
Ah well still plenty to do!!
