I needed to to mill a 8-hole bolt pattern and mill a slot for 1/4 X5" o-ring on a 1/2" X 12" stainless plate . I only have 11" of swing on my Logan lathe and the rotary table is 8"s, so I built a set of clamping fixtues for the rotary table. I milled T-nuts to fill the entire length of the T-slot with 2- 3/8" threaded holes in each one. Dovetails were then machined in 1"X 1/2" flat stock. They are attached to the T-nuts with cap screws. I had to elevate the dovetails for the clampls so they would clear the table. I milled small blocks, slotted them to fit over the t-slot antig-weldid them to bottom of the dove-tailed pieces. The clamps were made from some old C-clamps that icut off and weldeded to male dovetail. These clamps work very well and have saved me a lot time on set up for other work with the table. Just thought I would share the project
