An interesting day out
« on: May 04, 2016, 05:22:26 AM »
Yesterday as a surprise my better half arranged a trip to London and a visit to The Great Clock and the bells of Westminster [Big Ben]
. A fantastic day out and the chance to go right to the top of the tower see the clock in all its glory,   walk behind the clock faces and stand next to the bells while the clock is chiming
Unfortunately no photography allowed  and all cameras /phones have to be left with security before the tour begins .
To arrange a visit you have to contact your local MP  and they arrange it for you  There is no charge but you have to be fit and in good health . The clock is due to shut for about 2 years for repairs . Mike

..Is that the one that features Thomas Craper..

Try saying that with a Japanese accent and it becomes more appropriate.

Dave.

Apologies to any Japanese reading this. No offense intended.
