S50  :update:

Finished assembly of my S50, valve set as near as I can get it, valve cover joint fitted, made up an exhaust from spare piece of brass, stuffed with medium grade steel wool, nipped up on all fastenings ran in for about 1/2 hr... runs nicely on 4 psi now,  . Haven't decided about lagging cylinder yet ,  maybe leave as it is, still need to make appropriate style display base...

S50  :update:  Final tidy up of engine on simple base, doesn't look too bad at all. Hmm what to do next  :med:  still haven't decided on whether to clad the cylinder so will leave that for another time...
