Hi Im Graham an Industrial Modelmaker of 25 years, my field of interest is 3D CNC machining and I use a Roland Camm3 and 'Toolchips' machining software, Toolchips is a Danish Cadcam program which originally I used in the early days of DOS and developed into Toolchips 'Quickmill' which uses STL format for machining, I must say I get truly awesome results from this and I now use it for making parts for my Model Aircraft Kits business.

Hello!
I was wondering why Spilsby was making a bell go off in my brain.... spotting Louth nearby cleared it up, you're not far from Cadwell Park circuit, where I've spent many a happy (and several unhappy) hours of my life...
I'm just getting into 3D CNC, would be interested to see your work & how you go about it.

Hi Graham,
Welcome.
I have been looking for a decent 3d CAM package for some time and have trialled many cheaper packages. I just Googled Toolchips Quickmill and got nowhere. www.toolchips.com doesn't seem to be a valid site any more - maybe it's temporarily down. Are they still in existence?
Cheers.
Phil.

Hi Graham,
Nice to see some more Lincolnshire lads on here, I live in what was South Humberside, thankfully it was reverted back to North Lincolnshire. :mmr:
The annoying thing is though, not many organisations have bothered to address the address problem, we're still classed as South Humberside on all official communications.
End of gripe.... :D
