Hi Guys,
Was searching for four 6BA screws in the workshop come in handy drawers, when I discovered a very old small tap wrench, wow! part of an old Xmas present, then at the bottom of the draw found some nuts and screws to match. This really started me thinking, I wonder if I have any more of this kit. I must have because I never throw any thing away, but I have two garages full of machines materials and loads of come in handy junk. After a mornings search I found the Mini Steel Worker, and the Strip and Rod Bender. Well I had to have a go, and made little bracket.
Quite a clever design this machine, I fancy scaling it up for a new project. I know what it is, does anyone else?

I think that you have something here, but it's inpossible to say, you're picture is to big. I would be very glad if you have you're photos in max 800 x 600px, then I can see what you are doing. :zap: (http://madmodder.net/index.php?action=profile;u=1062)

Yes... Got one in the workshop that belonged to my dad.... A little tired but I have stripped and cleaned it all up....
Got the bending doofor and even an original pack of the steel strips!
Sadly it does not punch and guillotine as it should (cam worn I suspect?) I'll fix it some day :dremel:
Seen that little tap wrench somewhere too

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your comments. Trev what an amazing and interesting Meccano car. My father had a three wheel BSA
CAR had a similar overall shape. He once turned it over cornering in a mountain pass in the Peak District. Probably going too fast.
