Title: Myford ML10 Travelling Steady ----My First Casting Project
Post by: Meldonmech on October 17, 2012, 05:54:23 AM
Hi Guys ---  I first did a drawing full size, then made a cardboard pattern marked up with machining allowance indicated in red.

A wooden pattern and a mold were made.  This is my first furnace built from firebricks, fueled by coke and an

electric paint stripper.  I was quite pleased with my first casting. Now for the machining!
