Title: TToggle Clamps for small items
Post by: Meldonmech on September 14, 2012, 10:50:59 AM
HI Guys
These little toggle clamps I use for fine and delicate work holding when using the small sensitive drilling machine 1/4 max. capacity. Each clamp has a different foot and these cover the majority of work I do on small irregular shaped components. The hand held assembly sits on the machine table. A hard wood block used to support the work is tacked in position, this helps to reduce burrs when the drill breaks through. The feet can have card, leather or plastic soles glued on to protect the work.
                                        Cheers David

Hi Mick
Thanks for your comments, I always make workshop, tools and machinery mods between projects, all three clamps
only took a couple of hours to make, but have saved me many hours.

             Cheers  David
