Workshop time has been very limited recently...... :(
But, the Orphanage never closes. Always extending a warm welcome to needy waifs and strays...... :)
Like this Scott Flamelicker, which arrived several weeks ago........
It recently had an outing to a Toy Steam show, where it attracted a lot of attention. (http://serve.mysmiley.net/ashamed/ashamed0002.gif) (http://www.mysmiley.net)
Now, back in the Orphanage, awaiting it's turn........
Also, this "non runner", which is in transit, at the moment........

I believe it to be one of the kits which were sold by Arc (?). The only clue I've got is the name "Pembridge".
I don't like the position of the cooling fins........
Can anyone point me to an original pic..... Pleese?

Hi David,
Some nice finds there.
I remember it, Axminster used to sell them too, was sure I found them again somewhere the other day but can't remember where! It seems it's called an HAE03 - looks in the pic on link below like the cooling fins might be low by design .. can't imagine why though!

Typical, on the Sieg site it's the only one missing! http://www.siegind.com/gallery/&FrontNews_list01-1329466684059_pageNo=2&FrontNews_list01-1329466684059_pageSize=24.html (http://www.siegind.com/gallery/&FrontNews_list01-1329466684059_pageNo=2&FrontNews_list01-1329466684059_pageSize=24.html)
Not that this really helps at all but you can buy replacement parts here ... no mention of the engine itself but with a bit more mad googling you might find some info! http://littlemachineshop.com/products/product_category.php?category=1176825611&First=D&Last=R (http://littlemachineshop.com/products/product_category.php?category=1176825611&First=D&Last=R)

It's annoying me now!

Argh!! :bang:
It was somebody like RDG or Warco, I thought ha somebody else that's started selling those kits!

Hi Nick.
Thank you, for your efforts!
The Young Man who sent it to me also came up with this, from Irish Ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAP...cvip=true&rt=nc#ht_1101wt_952
Which has now, just expired!! :bang:
Any road!
It's arrived..... Looks ok. Larger than I thought....... More tired, than distressed. Needs a strip and proper alignment rebuild.
And, a burner.
But, the hot cap can rotate in it's flange! So, I guess I'll be silver soldering again.
Thanks again, for your help and enthusiasm Nick.
