Title: Hot off the mill! Epicyclic first run
Post by: sshire on September 09, 2012, 12:42:35 PM
Epicyclic Engine. Finished the last bits this morning. First run on air

After I run it in a bit, polishing and some work on the base.

Absolutely correct but I wanted to use Bill Reichart's original name for it. I'm sure Marv will understand  :smart:

Picky is good. In most of what we do, "Close enough" won't result in a running engine.   :D

Nice Engine, as I hope to build an epicyclic clock (or continue it in the near future), any guidance as to how you cut the internal gears?
