This is where the wood from the local home despot big box store!  Makes you wonder what they are paying fort it, and what they have to pay for the same stuff in Sweden?  :bugeye:

You probably paid less than what I would have to pay for it.... Pine, though the most common of wood here, but a good quality. What dimensions and how much for it?

Edit; Just saw the label (too early on a Saturday morning). 1"x6", 8' long... :doh:

It was and still is $6.35 /Each  I will say it is better quality then they have had in the past. As I haven't been able to get to the project for 3 weeks. It didn't warp, twist or do much other than start to cup on the ends of a couple sticks. :thumbup:
