Post by: sbwhart on July 03, 2012, 02:03:23 AM
Hi Guys

Just got back from a visit to Tanzanie, had a great time and the wild life we saw on safarie was spectacular.

So her are a few pics.

We started off the holiday by walking to the base camp for mount Kilimanjaro at 3100M its over 5000M to the top but we thought base camp was enough for us.

This is us as far as we got we are in the erica forest

Looks like you had a lot of fun there Stew

My mate did the full climb of Kilimanjaro last year. He said it was amazingly hard and very difficult.
I think you were quite wise to not try the full run!

Glad you avoided the wildlife and made it back in one piece
