Hi, I'm new here. I joined up a couple of weeks ago and have been lurking. Time to come out of the closet. :bugeye:
I live in Minnesota and enjoy making tools with my tools. Right now I'm just finishing up installing a DRO Pros Electronica series DRO on my lathe. My first DRO. I have a Vectrax 14x40 lathe, MSC's house brand, and an Enco RF-45 clone mill. I hope to upgrade my mill to a larger one in the next six months or so.
I have some projects that I'll be tackling soon that I'll need some advice on so you'll be hearing more from me, maybe too much more.

Hi Ed
This is a great forum. Just ask and you'll get advice, though anything I contribute is probably best ignored.

Thanks for all of the welcomes guys.
I'll be starting a thread about how to mount a ER40 chuck to a D1-4 backing plate. It won't be a "how-to" but a "how the hell do you do it" thread.
