Title: Scribe holder for scribe block.
Post by: Ross on January 10, 2012, 10:16:54 AM
Hi everyone,

I received this scribing block in the post dor stilldrillin

It's missing the part that holds the scribe, I'm thinking of making one, but I'm not sure of the best way to do it. But if anyone has a spare holder it would be much appreciated.

The shaft is 5mm diameter.

Ross have a look at www.cromwell.co.uk under precision and laboratory equipment page 634 they have spare knuckle and crossbar assembly. There is a branch in Station Rd, North Hykeham, Lincoln.

If you are missing the knuckle you might be missing the scribe too.. just ordered this myself, it arrived in ~3 days (Today, in fact).
